Uses:
Lifeguard station, clinic, first-aid hut and any other situation where a lifesaving facility is necessary.
Characteristics:
Its physical characteristics have been designed to make loading and transport as easy as possible. It is delivered in a completely finished state which makes it quick and easy to set up without any major assembly work involved. This also means that last-minute design modifications can be made.
The construction system of sandwich-type panels and modular plywood panels in the walls and interior partitions makes the structure extremely versatile, as well as equipping it with thermal insulation and an excellent aesthetic finish.
It comprises two main rooms, one for medical use and the other for lifeguards, plus a bathroom. The module is delivered fully equipped with sink, footbath, divan, screen, halogen lamp with magnifying glass, stretcher, resuscitation equipment, first-aid equipment, medicine chest, fridges, display cabinets, fire extinguishers, air conditioning, etc.
The final treatments and finishes give it effective protection against the weather and ensure its durability.
Materials used:
Support: depending on the surface on which it is to be located: pine railway sleepers, pillars, etc.
Base: framework of autoclave-treated Scots pine planks. Non-slip plywood.
Walls: sandwich-type walls with extruded polystyrene insulation. Moisture-resistant phenolic plywood and grooved loblolly pine plywood on exteriors.
Partitions: ‘H-laminated’ moisture-resistant plywood.
Structure: Swedish/Scots pine planks.
Roof: sandwich-type panels with extruded polystyrene insulation, WBP marine plywood and moisture-resistant plywood. Finished with asphalt shingles protected by mineral granules.
Carpentry: Loblolly pine double plywood doors on Scots pine frame. Shuttered windows in loblolly pine double plywood.
Treatment:
All exposed elements have been autoclave treated. Visible elements are finished in open pore varnish.
